“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love really is. May you experience the love of Christ, though you will NEVER fully understand it.Then you will be filled with the FULLNESS of life and POWER that comes from God”

Ephesians 3:18-19 NLT

Lots of us think we understand how much God loves us. He died for us while we were still sinners and He loves us unconditionally.  But do we really understand it? I believe the moment we think we have come to fully understood God’s love for us is the moment we have lost sight of His true love.

Paul writes that His love is one that we will NEVER fully understand. It is that wide, long, high and deep. So in another words, Jesus’ love for us is one that we can never live without experiencing it again and again.

It is a big mistake for us to think that we only need to experience the fullness of His love at our moment of repentance. His love is something that we should always strive to experience and understand every day!

Why? Because only out of God’s love, comes the FULLNESS of life, and the POWER to live our life the way God intended. We can only love God to the degree that we understand how much He loves us.

The Good news is that His love is one that we will never fully understand. So He loves us beyond what we think we know and we will ever know. And the key to live a fullness of life and the power to be disciples of Christ does not lie in us! But it all lies in the understanding of His limitless love.

Let this be an encouragement to us that we DON’T KNOW how much He loves us. So never walk away from EXPERIENCING His love daily. Because only then, we have the power to be content and live our life as disciples of Christ. Everything does not hinge in our love for us. It hinges on His love for us!

So keep coming back to His love for us for our daily bread and spiritual empowerment.

Only out of God’s love, comes the FULLNESS of life, and the POWER to live our life the way God intended.
